I'm doing some materials testing:
gluing paper on wood, painting and
then waxing. This is my test image today
and pretty accurately reflects my feelings
on the process.

I'm waiting for a lot of things to dry.

I will be at the Queen Anne Artists Trunk Show this coming Saturday where I will be selling original gouache paintings, prints, cards and pin-back buttons. Many of the pieces from my sketchbook will be available, plus more new work! There will be over 20 other artists at the trunkshow, displaying art, cards, children's clothing, felted work, jewelry and more. The event helps support art programs at Sweet Pea Cottage Preschool of the Arts. This is a kid friendly event, so bring 'em if you've got 'em! There will be an area for kids to make art and a bake sale, too.
