We were awakened on June 3, 2004 at 2:45 am by the bizarre rumbling that was a result of the meteor that burned up over Washington. It was only the size of a computer monitor, but the rumbling sounded like a huge explosion had occurred-- though our windows did not rattle, nor did our building shake. Wow!
