Posters, cds, postcards, brochures, identity, etc.
This identity was designed with Rosacordis and Martin McClellan. The owners of the restaurant wanted something informal yet classic and which evoked the french chalkboard script often found in parisian bistros. The script was hand lettered and utilizes a flourish reminiscent of iron scrollwork. We also designed the business cards and letterhead which is used for the daily menus.
Amy wanted a logo that was fun and young without being childish or silly. This custom illustration fit her needs perfectly and appears on letterhead, business cards, postcards and online.
This yearly fundraiser for the Market Foundation changes its look each year. I've had the pleasure of working with them for several years on different campaigns. In addition to the event logo, I designed posters, postcards, tickets, t-shirts, a program, and rack cards. The event is great fun and the money raised goes to a very important foundation whose mission is to support the needs of children, the elderly and the hungry in downtown Seattle. Other Market Foundation events for which I design print and some web collateral: Going Places Online Auction and the Care for the Market Luncheon.
I work with Pip McCaslin designing CD and DVD packaging for musicians. Below are some recent examples:
As in-house designer for Art Wolfe, I was able to work on a lot of different print pieces, from business cards to postcards and posters.

They perform a combination of folk, new age, jazz, rock, and classical music: a signature blend of vocals, cello, fiddle, guitars, and percussion on pieces like Bossa Vita and Dansa Venusia. This website is based on a simple template that I offer my clients. It is an economical solution, is quick to implement and provides a moderate level of customization.
DougPlummer.com
Doug Plummer is a wonderful Seattle photographer who has had a website since the mid 90's. He came to me for a site overhaul that would seamlessly incorporate his 2 blogs as well as include his vast archive of travel dispatches, photo essays and online stories. We updated his site from an old-style table-based layout to a standards compliant css design. While we couldn't update every single page of the site, we were able to build top level pages for his archives that provide a more cohesive look and easier access. We used Slideshow pro for his portfolios in order to allow him ease of updating his site in future.
EPInvitational.com
In 2005 Art Wolfe revived the Environmental Photography Invitational, a photo contest created to increase awareness of environmental issues through photography. As his in-house web designer I designed the front end of the site and worked with the developers at Trademark Graphic Services to create a special upload area so photographers could submit JPGs of their images for judging by the panel. The contest and the interface was very successful with over 300 entrants submitting close to 2000 images. The step-by-step upload instructions walked photographers through each submission stage in an easy to understand manner. The platform agnostic interface also ensured that there were no issues with users systems which we new would run the gamut from brand-new cutting edge machines to 10 year old computers on a dialup modem. We displayed the winning images online using Lightbox JS, a terrific unobtrusive script that allow you to overlay a slideshow on top of existing content.
